Dqae Qare San Community Project
Dqae Qare is a lodge near Chanzi that is owned and run by people from the San-community, initiated in order to create employment and preserve their cultural heritage.The lodge offers an exceptional experience in the Kalahari, as the San show our guests their ancient traditions and share their explicit knowledge of the Kalahari desert. During their stay at the lodge, guests can enjoy an interesting bush walk, a traditional dance at the fire, storytelling, and join in making handicrafts.We have supported the lodge with skills trainings and a solar system.
