    Day 1,Hotel Heinitzburg, Windhoek

    Arrival at Windhoek International Airport where you will be met by your English speaking tourguide. During the short trip to Windhoek you will receive useful information about the customs and ways of the country and get a first impression of the African landscape. Hotel Heinitzburg is one of Windhoek’s most luxurious establishments. Heinitzburg was built in 1914 by a German nobleman for his fiancée and was converted into a hotel in the 1996. The rooms are decorated in exquisite taste.

    Day 2,Wolwedans Dune Camp, NamibRand Nature Reserve

    Your journey through Namibia starts with the drive past the picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass, which offers an endless view over the Namib, to the Namib Naukluft Park. Wolwedans Dune Camp is positioned on the edge of a 250 metre high dune, and offers magnificent views of the surrounding environment. With only eight tents, an intimate dining area and an inviting fire pit, the Camp exudes an uncharacteristic warmth.

    Day 3,Wolwedans Dune Camp, NamibRand Nature Reserve

    Discover the fascinating wonders of the NamibRand Nature Reserve during a full day scenic excursion through grassy savannahs and apricot-colored sand dunes. You will see oryx antelopes, springboks and zebras roaming the vast grass-covered plains. and with some luck spot an aardwolf or a bat eared fox. In-between enjoy moments of silence – today a rare luxury.

    day 4,Sossusvlei Lodge, Sossusvlei

    Continue to Sossusvlei Lodge, which is reached at noon. After a siesta you drive to Sossusvlei, a clay pan surrounded by some of the world’s tallest sand dunes. The most powerful forces of our planet, sun, wind and water, formed this sandy landscape over a period of 80 million years.

    Day 5,Desert Breeze Lodge, Swakopmund

    Today’s journey takes you through the Namib Naukluft Park to the Atlantic coast. Along the way you pass the Kuiseb Canyon, where the two German geologists Hermann Korn and Dr. Henno Martin took refuge during Word War II. The latter is the author of the book "Sheltering Desert“.

    Day 6,Desert Breeze Lodge, Swakopmund

    Take a stroll through this small coastal town and visit the museum, the aquarium or the Kristall Galerie, which displays the world’s largest quarz crystal cluster. In addition, there are various optional activities available, such as the Living Desert Tour, a unique and entertaining half day 4x4 excursion that takes you into the dune belt between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. In Walvis Bay you have the option to participate in a three-hour catamaran cruise to see the seal colonies at Pelican Point. Another fascinating experience is the 2 hour scenic flight over the desert and the dunes to the shipwrecks of Conception Bay.

    Day 7,Mowani Mountain Camp, Damaraland

    Continue your journey along the Atlantic coast to Henties Bay, where you turn inland and drive past the Brandberg into the timelessly beautiful landscape of southern Damaraland. In the afternoon you visit the outstanding sights of Damaraland. During a two-hour hike on the slopes of Twyfelfontein, you can admire some of the ancient rock engravings that have since been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The surrounding sights are the valley of the organ pipes and the Burnt Mountain.

    Day 8,Mowani Mountain Camp, Damaraland

    Climb into an open vehicle for a half day scenic drive through this magnificent area. Mowani offers guided nature drives to explore the surrounding area and search for animal life such as the desert-adapted elephants and desert black rhino. Local guides share their intimate knowledge and respect for the land they love. With new insight into local traditions, you will come to fully appreciate the geology, botany, and wildlife of this stunning area.

    Day 9,Ongava Tented Camp, Ongava Private Game Reserve

    On to your next destination. Sharing a common boundary with Etosha National Park, the prolific 30 000-hectare private Ongava Game Reserve is considered one of the finest private game reserves in the region, enjoying global recognition for exceptional conservation, ground breaking research and exciting safari experiences.

    Day 10,Ongava Tented Camp, Ongava Private Game Reserve

    Enjoy a day of exciting animal watching. The dedicated guides design the game drives in Etosha (in the morning) and the Ongava Game Reserve (in the afternoon) interesting and exciting. Etosha is Namibia's most famous national park and one of the great highlights of the country.

    Day 11,Okonjima Luxury Bush Camp, Okonjima Nature Reserve

    Today you continue to another highlight concerning animal viewing. Okonjima is the home of the AfriCat Foundation, which has dedicated itself to the protection and preservation of African predators, especially cheetahs and leopards, that have been rescued from irate livestock farmers.

    Day 12,Okonjima Luxury Bush Camp, Okonjima Nature Reserve

    Take part in the various activities that are offered at Okonjima. You can radio-track leopards and cheetahs from open game viewing vehicles and see these beautiful predators in their natural environment. The animals are able to roam freely on the private nature reserve and catch their own prey.

    Day 13,Omaanda Lodge, Windhoek

    Return to Windhoek and continue to the private Zannier Reserve, which is in close proximity to the Windhoek International Airport. Here your guide will bid you farewell. For the rest of the day you can relax by the swimming pool or on the terrace of your bungalow, and reflect on the experiences of your journey.
