We are looking for a Junior IT Technician

Are you ready to grow your career in IT? We are looking for a vibrant individual to join our IT & MIS team, where you will provide hands-on technical support and help keep our systems running smoothly.

In this position, you will:
– provide first-line IT support to staff (hardware, software, and network troubleshooting).
– assist with computer setup, upgrades, and basic repairs (laptops, desktops, printers, servers).
– support users with specialized applications and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
– monitor and maintain network performance, backups, and security checks.
– assist with installing updates, patches, and software upgrades.
– log support requests, track issues, and follow up to ensure resolution.
– collaborate with the IT team on projects and learn more advanced systems over time.

Requirements:
– Grade 12, IT diploma, degree, or recognized certifications (CompTIA A+/N+, Microsoft, or similar).
– Minimum 1 year in an IT support or technical role.
– Strong technical troubleshooting skills across hardware and software.
– Basic knowledge of networking and system administration.
– Familiarity with databases (e.g. FileMaker) is a plus, but not a requirement.
– A problem-solver with good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
– Knowledge of Apple platform a distinct advantage.
