About Me
I was born and raised in Switzerland. When I was a child I was glued to the TV show “Omaha’s Wild Kingdom”, a documentary about Africa’s Wildlife. After completing my schooling I did a commercial apprenticeship with an insurance company. Returning from an extensive trip to Australia, I joined the tourism industry and immediately new that I have found my calling. During my travels through Australia I felt a strong desire to not just travel to a foreign country, but to experience it properly. When I told this to a friend, he said, "what do you want in Australia, no one is waiting there for you. Why don’t you go to Africa?" To Africa? What am I supposed to be doing there? At that time I did not make the connection between Africa and my favourite childhood TV documentary. Nor did I have the slightest idea that indeed someone was waiting there for me. In April 1995, in Namibia, I set foot on the African continent and was deeply touched by the vastness, the silence, the landscapes, the animal kingdom and the different cultures of this fascinating country. Meanwhile I have explored all corners of Namibia and beyond. To share with our clients the unparalleled beauty, rich diversity and abundance this continent has to offer, is for me the most fulfilling task I can imagine.
